Q:What is the exact condition of the system I am getting ? Where is it built ?
A: This system is custom built using brand new parts right here at our SCE USA facility in California. All parts came either direct from the manufacture or Intel's authorized distributor. There may be very minor scratch on some area due to the difficulty in getting the motherboard into such a small case. Fortunately, the remaining work left for you -- memory and drives installation is the easy part.
Q: I plan to integrate this system to my car. What precaution do I have to take ?
A:The AC power adatper included provides 12V power source to this mini system. If you are thinking about connecting the system directly to your car's 12v power source and not use the AC power adapter, we suggest proper power conditioning and surge protection be in place to protect this system from car system's frequent electrical surges.
Q: If I cut out the DC cable from the AC power adapter, would I still have warranty ?
A:The thirty-day money back return policy is contingent upon everything, including all accessory and packaging items, be returned back to us complete. If an item is missing, altered such as cable being cut out in this case, a restocking charge will be applied at our discretion. The system board and Intel CPU are still covered under Intel's 3-year warranty and support plan regardless. You always have the option of contacting Intel for warranty service on the main system board and CPU.
